We are delighted to announce that Emma James, Wealth Manager at MASECO Private Wealth has been shortlisted as a finalist in the “Rising Star” category at the prestigious Women in Investment Awards 2024. This nomination highlights Emma’s remarkable achievements and her contributions to both our firm and the broader investment industry.

Since becoming one of the first female Wealth Managers at MASECO Private Wealth in April 2022, Emma has consistently demonstrated her leadership, growth, and commitment to supporting female representation within the financial sector. In 2023, Emma more than doubled the assets under her management, a testament to her dedication to both her clients and her profession. This rapid success at the start of her career has paved the way for future female advisors within the firm, creating a pathway for greater diversity and inclusion in leadership roles.

Emma has also taken on a key mentorship role, guiding emerging female advisors as they navigate their own careers. Her wide-ranging advice and hands-on support have been invaluable to her colleagues, and Emma is passionate about continuing this legacy, inspired by the guidance she herself received earlier in her career.

In addition to her advisory work, Emma spearheaded the development of a dedicated service offering for female clients, tailoring financial advice to better meet the diverse needs of women investors. She has written numerous articles on the unique challenges women face in the investment world and led a series of successful events for female clients, including a standout “life mapping” session aimed at helping clients clarify their financial goals and strengthen their relationship with money.

Emma’s innovative work in developing strategies and programs for female investors, alongside her focus on closing the financial literacy gap, has garnered exceptional feedback from both clients and colleagues. Her leadership in this space continues to enhance the firm’s ability to serve a diverse client base and make finance more accessible for all.

Emma’s nomination as a finalist for the Rising Star award is further underscored by her recent achievement of becoming a Chartered Wealth Manager in February, achieving Level 7 qualification. Her exceptional client feedback and commitment to excellence continue to set a high standard within the industry.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Emma on this well-deserved recognition and are excited to celebrate her continued success at the Women in Investment Awards. The winners will be announced during the in-person awards ceremony in London on 27th November, where Emma’s outstanding achievements will be showcased alongside the best talent in the industry. We are incredibly proud of her journey and look forward to what the future holds.
