Today is International Volunteer Day, an event celebrated worldwide to thank volunteers for their dedication and raise awareness of their critical role in safeguarding our communities.

The 2022 theme for International Volunteer Day is solidarity through volunteering, promoting the collective power of humanity to drive positive change through volunteering.

Here at MASECO, we are committed to supporting the community by volunteering. We encourage all employees to take one day a year to volunteer for a charity of their choice. We believe that giving back to the community is important and this is one way we can show our commitment. As a team, we have fed the homeless locally on the Strand and donated coats to vulnerable people in our communities through the Wrap Up London initiative.

Nicola Roigard, Head of Marketing, reflects on volunteering;
