MASECO Beating the January Blues: A Thoughtful Pick-Me-Up to Start the Year
Written by Communications at MASECO Written by MASECO Beating the January Blues: A Thoughtful Pick-Me-Up to Start the YearAs the new year begins, it’s common to feel a bit drained after the excitement and celebrations of the festive period, often leading to low energy, decreased motivation, and a general dip in mood. At MASECO, we recognise that these “January Blues” can be challenging, which is why we are committed to finding ways to boost morale and create a positive environment for our team.
To help lift spirits, our Culture Committee organised a special initiative for the team. In January, MASECO staff members received a self-cook pizza kit delivered straight to their door, supplied by Pizza Pilgrims.
The team had the option to choose from three delicious varieties: Classic Margherita, Double Pepperoni, or Vegan Delight. Each kit included all the ingredients required to make two pizzas. It provided a welcome opportunity for staff to relax, get creative in the kitchen, and enjoy some quality time at home.
Beyond offering a tasty treat, this initiative encouraged staff to get creative. From preparing the dough to selecting the toppings, each person was able to personalise their pizza to their liking. There were also plenty of opportunities for staff to share their creations (and perhaps a few unconventional topping combinations) over the course of the week.
MASECO remains dedicated to fostering a sense of connection and keeping morale high. Whether through team activities, events, or other initiatives, we are committed to ensuring that our workplace continues to be engaging and supportive.
