Kicking off our new MASECO ‘In Conversation With’ series, (as part one of two of this episode) George King, Senior Wealth Manager and Damian Barry, Chief Investment Officer, explore what has been happening recently in markets, reflecting on some of the thoughts and questions we regularly get asked by MASECO clients.

At MASECO we believe in ‘making the arcane more approachable’, and this video (soon to be podcast), series seemed like a good way to bring all of this alive, especially after what has felt like a particularly unusual period when it comes to the investment landscape.

In their discussion, George and Damian touch upon markets in the past year, inflation and the impact that it had and continues to have, the recent Silicon Valley Bank collapse following rising interest rates, the benefits of a factor based approach and other hot topics.
