New Head of Finance Appointed: James Smart

MASECO Private Wealth, the independent wealth management firm seeking to enrich the lives of our High and Ultra High Net Worth American and global clients through simplifying their multi-jurisdictional wealth management needs are thrilled to announce the appointment of James Smart as the firms new Head of Finance.

With a crucial role of providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company’s financial commitments are met, James will be responsible for reporting, analysing targets and budgetary planning. He will also be vital in supporting the business with strategic and financial decision making.

James has over 30 years industry experience, and 15 years’ experience within Wealth Management and joins MASECO from Sandaire, Family Office where he was Chief Financial Officer responsible for the financial management of the firm. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer at London and Capital (L&C) where he was hired to develop improved management reporting to enable the management team to grow the business. During his time at L&C, James worked closely with the COO co-developing the business strategy to exploit significant growth potential, with revenues doubling during his time there.
