Recycling Week is an annual event that takes place from 19th September to 25th September. It is a time to celebrate recycling and its benefits to our environment.

Recycling has many benefits, including reducing pollution, conserving resources, saving energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Taking simple steps to recycle more can help make a big difference for our planet.

Recycling is easy! You can recycle by doing the following:

• Put recyclable items in the correct bin or container.
• Avoid using products with excessive packaging.
• Purchase items made from recycled materials.
• Compost food scraps and vegetative waste instead of sending them to the landfill.

According to Recycle Now, recycling one tonne of paper can save 17 trees, 2,500 litres of water, and 4,000 kWh of energy – that’s enough to power a home for six months!

As a company, we recycle all our paper waste and encourage our employees to do the same at home. We also promote using recycled paper products where possible and several other initiatives across the company.
