Emma James, CWM
Emma joined MASECO in 2017 and has had the opportunity to work on many complex cases for international clients building robust wealth planning frameworks. Through Emma’s background in physics, she sees the benefit to extensive academic research and how this has been applied to the MASECO Investment Philosophy, based upon notable economic studies into the source of returns.
Emma studied Natural Sciences with a major in Physics at Bath University. Whilst at University, she spent a year in the financial services sector at UBS Asset Management in the client relationship team. This piqued Emma’s interest in finance and she went on to write her dissertation on how physics principles could be used to model financial markets. Since joining MASECO in 2017 Emma has developed her knowledge and experience and has progressed to Wealth Manager working with a number of dual-connected families. Emma has completed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification where she received the highest mark nationally in her class. Emma also helps to build out initiatives for women in wealth within MASECO and to broaden MASECO’s offering in this space.
