Marc Cane

Marc has over 20 years of experience in regulation, financial crime and risk.

Prior to joining MASECO, Marc was International Chief Compliance Officer at AlTi Global and Head of Risk and Compliance at Sandaire, before it was sold to Schroders.

Marc has worked in businesses which provide investment opportunities to retail and professional clients, discretionary management, financial advice and corporate finance. This includes the development of risk, compliance and financial crime frameworks and the implementation of regulatory developments including MiFIDII and SMCR. Marc has experience of Public and Private Markets, Hedge Funds, ETFs, UCITs, Real Estate and Corporate Finance.

In his spare time…

Marc has completed four Ironman races, 13 middle distance triathlons and five marathons. He now only swims, bikes and runs for the social side, but is often tempted to get back into “racing”!  Over the last few years he has started growing fruit and vegetables in the garden.

Education and credentials:

  • Marc has an LLB(Hons) and is a Chartered Member of the CISI
