Patrick Bowen

Patrick studied Economics at University and completed his dissertation on the Impact of High Frequency Trading, which provided him with a sound understanding of the Efficient Market Hypothesis and strongly believes in MASECO’s factor-based approach to investing.

Patrick joined as a graduate at MASECO in 2013 and has worked across multiple departments gaining a deep understanding of the business, under the tutelage of Josh Matthews.

As a Wealth Manager, Patrick enjoys helping clients find and create a simple solution to their complex financial situations. He is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) having achieved his Level 6 Private Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) qualification.

Patrick is particularly focussed on developing a solution that is low cost and tax efficient with simplicity being a key overlay. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients to understand their financial situation and ensure they are making well informed investment decisions.

In his spare time…

Patrick spends his weekends playing rugby for his school alumni club and tries to squeeze in a round of golf or a game of squash whenever possible. He also enjoys skiing and tries to get away for a few days a year with friends and family.
