World Mental Health Day 2022
Written by HRToday marks World Mental Health Day, where the objective is to raise awareness about mental health. It encourages people to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.
In support of this day, MASECO will be running a live webinar on Mental Resilience and Well-being for all staff, delivered by Chris Baker (qualified coach, hypnotherapist and mindfulness teacher) from Mind Clear.
How can you personally improve your mental health?
- Building meaningful relationships with people: These relationships can provide emotional support, a sense of belonging and allows you to share positive experiences.
- Being physically active: Being physically active significantly improves your mental well-being as it will raise your self-esteem, positively change your mood, and encourages you to set goals and achieve them.
- Engage in mindfulness: Mindfulness meditation involves sitting silently and paying attention to thoughts, sounds, the sensations and breathing.
